FULLERTON – Hope International collected points at No. 1 and No. 4 singles, but fell 5-2 to Westmont in a men's tennis contest on Saturday at the Fullerton Tennis Center.

The Royals also had a victory at No. 1 doubles, as Reid Lizardo and Karan Srivastava defeated Driss Sedrati and JD Drake, 6-3. But they succumbed to the doubles point as the Warriors picked up wins on courts 2 and 3.

Srivastava earned a 6-4, 7-5 victory on line one against Rafael Matias, prevailing by 6-4, 7-5 scores. Kaito Henderson rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 4, taking care of Antoine De Cooman.

The Royals had an opportunity for another point on court 2 as Lizardo and Diego De Cooman battled to a third set, but the Westmont senior outlasted the Royal by scores of 6-1, 6-7, 10-7.

Kento Henderson tussled with Zach Steinberg at No. 5, falling 6-3, 6-4.

The Royals return to action on Thursday, February 12 against Irvine Valley College for a noon start at the Fullerton Tennis Center.
