CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Hope International men's track & field team competed in the Pomona-Pitzer David Salo & Nancy Crenna College Invite on Saturday.

Three Royals participated in various events. 

Daniel Perez was the top HIU finisher as he came in fourth place in the 800 meter run, clocking a time of 1:59.90. Luis Diaz also performed in the event and had a time of 2:27.11

In the 1 mile run, Perez was HIU's top finisher in 4:51.15, while Diaz posted a 5:44.93.

Funbi Osunsami took part in the 200 meter dash, finishing in 10th place with a time of 22.95 seconds. He also competed in the long jump and took fifth with a top leap of 20 feet, 8 inches (6.30m).

The Royals return to action on Friday, March 6 at the RCC Invitational in Riverside.
