FULLERTON – Hope International battled NCAA Division I foe UC Davis on Saturday at the Fullerton Tennis Center, falling 7-0 to the Aggies.

Mohamed El Sheikh and Sebastien Dizon Perez lost 6-4 in No. 3 doubles to Vidyuth Anand and Kurt Miller. 

El Sheikh fought hard at No. 5 singles, taking Anand to three sets before succumbing 6-4, 4-6, 10-3. Thomas Folsom made his season debut at No. 6, losing 6-2, 6-3 to Dylan Paterson.

The Royals are now 2-4 on the season. The Aggies moved to 5-5.
