Senior Amira Austin averaged 18.0 points, 15.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in a pair of huge Great Southwest Athletic Conference victories, earning her the conference's women's basketball Offensive Player of the Week award.

The 6-1 forward shot 51.9 (14 of 27) from the floor and hit her lone three-point attempt. 

In a 60-53 triumph over The Master's, she posted 17 points and 15 rebounds to go along with four assists, a steal and two blocked shots.

Austin followed up with 19 points and 15 rebounds in a 70-62 win over Benedictine Mesa. She blocked two more shots as the defensive anchor for the Royals.

Austin, coming off a GSAC Defensive Player of the Week honor, has registered double-digit rebounds in seven straight games. In addition, she has notched a double-double in four consecutive contests.

HIU takes its 5-0 GSAC record on the road to Arizona Christian for a game this Thursday.
