Pasadena, CA - The Hope International University men's track and field team continued their season with a strong performance at the Pasadena City College Invite on Friday afternoon in Pasadena, CA.

Strong performances were recorded starting with Caleb Ornelas taking the 1500 meter and winning the entire race with an impressive time of 4:07.01 after taking the lead on the second lap.  This was followed by another incredible performance by Daniel Perez who won the 800-meter dash with a time of 1:58.00. Other strong performances were Diego Pineda clocking in a 2:03.00 for 3rd place, followed by Andy Avalos right behind with a time of 2:04.00. The Royals also competed in the 4x400 meter relay hitting an impressive time of 3:41.00. 

The Royals will continue their season at the West Coast Relays from March 28-29 in Fresno, CA.
