PAGE, Ariz. – Sophomore Miranda Cervantes finished in 17th place to lead Hope International women's golf at The Bandy Invitational, which concluded Tuesday at the Lake Powell National Golf Club.

Cervantes shot a 15-over 159 over the 36 holes on the par-72, 5,812-yard course. She had an opening round 76, followed by an 83 in the second round. Cervantes fired five birdies in the first round.

Senior Ylianna Fernandez posted a 17-over score of 161 for 20th place. She improved from an opening round 83, carding a 78 over the final 18 holes. She had two birdies and nine pars during Tuesday's final round.

The Royals turn their attention to the GSAC Championships, which will be held April 20-22 at the La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc.
