LOMPOC, Calif. – Senior Ylianna Fernandez is tied for sixth following the first round of the 2026 GSAC Women's Golf Championship at La Purisima Golf Course.

Fernandez carded an 8-over par 80 on the 5,930-yard layout. She holed a birdie on the par-5 457-yard sixth hole.

She sits five shots behind round one leaders Bellamaria Mantini of Embry-Riddle and Hannah Ulibarri of The Master's after both entered the clubhouse shooting 3-over 75. OUAZ's Alayna Lekkerkerk ranked third with a 77 and Arizona Christian's Nikki Bowen and ERAU's Charlotte Giffin tied for fourth with identical 79's.

HIU's Miranda Cervantes is tied for 12th place with OUAZ's Macie Doherty. Cervantes carded an 11-over 83.

Round two of the 54-hole tournament continues on Tuesday.
