FULLERTON, Calif. – Hope International men's tennis won all three doubles and all six singles contests in a 9-0 victory over Fullerton College on Tuesday afternoon.

The Royals dominated all three doubles matches, with Karan Srivastava and Thomas Folsom at No. 1 and Reid Lizardo and Mohamed El Sheikh at No. 2 winning by identical 8-1 scores. The No. 3 pair of Dylan Barrett and Kaito Henderson downed Ben Koker and Jolhan-Pierre Noiroux by an 8-2 score.

Thomas Folsom was the only Royal regular to play in singles, elevated to the No. 1 position. He breezed to a 6-2, 6-0 win over Brayden Toniolo. Folsom earned the fifth and deciding point for the Royals.

The remainder of the lineup saw action and took advantage of the opportunity.

David Gutierrez played at No. 2 and defeated Matt Doria, 6-1, 7-5. Michael Lumang overcame a first set deficit, winning his match at No. 3 over Samora Wa Azaro, 5-7, 6-4, 10-4.

James Nicols blanked Koker at No. 4, 6-0, 6-0. Ryan Moore was a 6-2, 6-3 victor at No. 5 against Allen Sim. Eduardo Ramirez defeated Noiroux by identical 6-2, 6-2 scores.

HIU returns to the courts on Wednesday, April 8 against Mt. SAC at noon.
