SALEM, Ore. – Ezekiel Hueter earned an eighth place finish in the 174-pound bracket to conclude the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Wrestling Championships on Saturday at the Salem Armory Auditorium.
Hueter squared off against Southern Oregon's Jackson Potts in the consolation round and lost 15-0 by tech fall at 5:54. In the battle for seventh place, Hueter faced Corban's Andres Nicacio. The HIU junior had a solid effort, falling by a close 9-7 decision.
Alonzo Cardona also competed on day two of the championships. He lost his match in the 285-pound weight class against Providence's Ethan DeRoche by fall at 2:07.
