Fullerton, CA - Lisa Bangasser was named Coach of the Year and two more men's volleyball athletes were named to the All-GSAC team as announced by the Great Southwest Athletic Conference on Monday morning.
Head Coach Lisa Bangasser received Coach of the Year honors for the first time after turning around a Royals program that hadn't had a winning record since 2019 and leading them to a 15-7 record and third place in the GSAC standings in just her third year as the Head Coach. The Royals also qualified for the GSAC Championships for the first time since 2019 and Bangasser becomes the first men's volleyball coach to receive Coach of the Year honors.

Cole Oliver was named All-GSAC after leading the GSAC and the NAIA with 4.51 kills per set after recording 370 kills in 82 sets played which ranked first in the GSAC and fifth in the NAIA. A transfer from The Master's Oliver also led the GSAC with 59 service aces setting a new single Royals record while also tying the single game service ace record with seven in the first game of the season against Oliver Nazarene. Oliver was also named GSAC Attacker of the Week three times and NAIA Attacker of the Week twice.
A senior outside hitter from Downey, CA
Julian Zavala was named All-GSAC for the second time after finishing second on the Royals with 225 kills for 3 kills per set while appearing in 20 matches and 75 sets while also recording 141 digs. A transfer from Long Beach City College Zavala finished seventh in the GSAC in kills per and set and seventh in digs per set.
