Irvine, CA - The Royals STUNT season resumed locally when the Royals took on the Eagles of Concordia University- Irvine. Always a tough match when these two teams meet. The Royals started off strong with the Royals debuting at level 8 and taking the point. A slight mishap in the 2^nd round had the two teams tied but the Royals came out on top in quarter 1 ending the partner stunt round at 3-1. Quarter 2(pyramids and tosses) was a close one, but the Royals still maintained the lead going into halftime with a score of 6-3. Quarter 3 was a thrilling quarter with the Royals taking 3 points to CUI's 2 points- ending the quarter
9-6. The Royals finished out the game sealing their win by the 3^rd round. The final score was 17-9.

Power Players for game 3 included Mackenzie Flowers, Nicole Contreras, Kaitlyn Kelly, Sophia Rosendale and Ivy Martinez. Highlights from tonight's game include not only scoring on Partner stunt level 8 twice but also Jumps and tumbling level 6 twice and debuting Pyramid level 8.  The all-time record between the Royals and the Eagles stands at 2-3. 

Next up on the schedule is Vanguard University this Friday as the Royals host their home opener.
