GLENDALE, Ariz. – The 2026 STUNT GSAC Conference Championships were held at Arizona Christian last weekend and Hope International won for the third straight year.
The Royals won their first game against Arizona Christian 25-1 in a dominant performance. The power players were Sophia Rosendale, Giselle Baeza, Andra Brenneman and Meela Ly.
It was a historic moment for the HIU STUNT program as the 100th win in program history.
Day two of the tournament pitted HIU against No. 3-ranked Park Gilbert and the Royals took another perfect game win at 23-0. Power players for game two were Rosendale, Baeza, Brenneman, Addy Drumond and Sophia Gonzalez.
The final game was in the championship round with HIU facing off against the second-ranked Firestorm again. The Royals easily captured the title with a 24-0 win. The power players for the championship game were Rosendale, Mackenzie Flowers, Ly, Ivy Martinez and Claire Zenisek.
Rosendale earned First Team All-Conference, while Drumond made the Second Team. Baeza received Honorable Mention recognition.
The Royals turn their attention to the NAIA STUNT Nationals, which will be held April 17-19 in Bethany, Okla. The Royals are the defending National Champions and the No. 1 seed going into the tournament.
