NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Hope International STUNT team competed in the Music City Classic for the second time and went away with another clean sweep on the road last weekend.
Day one saw the Royals match up for the first time against Division 2 East Stroudsburg. The Royals easily dominated the Warriors throughout the entire game with a final score of 26-2. Power players were Sophia Rosendale, Meela Ly, Giselle Baeza and Addy Drumond.
The Royals next took on Division I Missouri State for the second time this year, winning 30-14. Power players were Rosendale, Andra Brenneman, Baeza and Drumond. HIU improved to 2-0 all-time against the Bears.
Day two brought another new opponent in Division 2 Tiffin. The Royals once again maintained control throughout the game with a final score of 30-7 against the Dragons. Power players were Rosendale, Baeza, Brenneman, Ly and Jamisen Chacon.
Finishing out the tournament, the Royals faced Central Arkansas, another Division 1 program. Earning the 27-4 victory versus the Bears, the Royals made a clean sweep of the weekend. Power players were Rosendale, Baeza, Drumond and Brenneman. HIU moved to 2-0 all-time against Central Arkansas.
The Royals next head to Arizona Christian to face the Firestorm on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
