Tempe, AZ- Stunt season is officially underway with your Royals playing a double header at Arizona State University in their annual Duel with the Devils Tournament.

The first game the Royals faced the Aggies of UC Davis. HIU dominated throughout the first 2 quarters ending 8-0 at the half. The third quarter was close with several rounds ending within 2 minors, with the Royals taking the point each round.  The Royals continued to breeze through the 4^th quarter with all points in their favor. The Royals were excited to debut the levels and played 2, 4 and 6 this game.  Power players were Meela Ly, Ivy Martinez, Kamea Binnquist, Nicole Contreras, Jamie Goldman, Sophia Rosendale. The Royals' all-time record against the Aggies is now 6-0. They will meet up again on February 14^th at the Royal Rumble. 
 

The next game started conference play against Arizona Christian, in a modified game (only 8 rounds) the Royal breezed through each round against the Firestorm. The Royals were pleased with their performance scoring the point against the standard in forfeited rounds by the Firestorm. Power players for game 2 of the season were Meela Ly, Jamisen Chacon, Nicole Contreras, Alexis Lorenzo and Grace Brassfield. Grace Brassfield and Jamisen Chacon both freshmen, marked not only their debut in college stunt but also being a game power player.  The all-time record between the Royals and the Firestorm now stands at 6-0 and will meet again in March. 

The Royals continue action at Concordia University- Irvine on Tuesday February 4.
