Fullerton, CA - The Royals hosted their home opener against former GSAC rival the Lions of Vanguard. The Lions have recently moved into NCAA Division 2.  It's always a great game between the Orange County universities and this year proved an even more exciting match.

The Royals showed their strength on partner stunts and pyramids leading in both first and second quarters. Going into halftime ahead 7-3. The Lions showed their tumbling strength by edging out the Royals in quarter 3 ending the quarter 8-6, still in the Royals favor. Turning the heat up in 4^th quarter, the Royals edged the Lions 15-11 final score. Your Royals remain undefeated 4-0 on the season so far.
 

The power players for game 4 include Kaitlyn Kelly, Mackenzie Flowers, Sophia Rossendale, Nicole Contreras, Kamea Binnquist and Ivy Martinez. The lifetime record between the 2 schools is now 4-7.
