Brookings, SD – Hope International Women's Indoor Track & Field runner Emma Timmermans competed at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships yesterday finishing the season strong at Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, South Dakota.

Timmermans wrapped up her Indoor Track & Field Season with a 13th place finish at the NAIA Championships in the 5000-meter race. Timmermans finished one spot short of the final breaking her season best time with a seventh place finish in her heat with a time of 17:59.81. Despite finishing short of last year's school record of 17:56.34 Timmermans is looking forward to beginning her Outdoor Track Season
