th non-divisional match against the Eagles after a slow start in quarter 1 ended with the first win against the Eagles in program history. Trailing 0-2 after the first 2 rounds, the Royals came back strong winning the final 2 points of the quarter leaving a tie going into quarter 2. From then on the Royals held the lead throughout the game. Scoring all 4 points in quarter 2 but losing 3 points in quarter 3 could have left the teams tied going into quarter 4 but the Eagles could not meet the standard on JT7 in which the Royals forfeited the round leaving a 6-5 score going into the final round. Quarter 4 proved strategy is key when the Royals led 11-7 going into their final possession call, and called level 7 winning the point in the Partner stunt section securing the Royals win with 1 round remaining. the game finished with level 1 and a final score of 14-8. The highlights of the game was coming back from trailing in quarter 1, scoring on PS8, unopposed and beating the D2 Concordia Eagles, a long and highly respected program for the first time.
