Fullerton, CA - The Hope International University women's basketball team (6-1, 2-0 GSAC) continued their hot run of form as they won their sixth game in a row running away late from William Jessup 79-50 on Saturday afternoon in the Darling Pavilion.

The Royals jumped on top early as they opened the game on a 9-2 run led by four points from Shailissa Jarrett. The Warriors answered as they got back within four midway through the first but the Royals closed out the quarter strong as they took a 22-12 advantage at the end of the first. The Royals continued their momentum into the second as they outscored the Warriors 13-5 to take a 35-17 lead after back to back layups from Shiane Talley midway through the quarter. The Warriors didn't go away though as they closed the quarter on a 9-4 run as the Royals went into halftime up 39-26.

The third quarter was tight as both teams struggled shooting the ball and it was the Warriors who took advantage as they pulled back within nine points at 45-36 midway through the third. The Royals though closed the quarter strong with an 11-2 run led by two key threes from Jarrett as they extended their lead to 56-38 at the end of the third. The Warriors started the final quarter strong as they got within 15 but that's as close as they got as the Royals went on another 11-2 run to take a commanding 69-45 lead midway through the quarter. The Royals continued to dominate as Anya Shamburger hit a late three to put them up 79-47 as they went on to win 79-50. Talley led the Royals with 15 points.
