Case joined the Royals in September 2022 and comes from Cal Baptist University where she served as the Assistant Head Coach for their women's basketball program from 2012-2022 helping lead them to a 234-80 record for a winning percentage of 74.5%. They were 83-37Â in NCAA Division 1 while also being 45-19 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Case has guided the Royals to three straight winning seasons including winning the GSAC Tournament in her first season in 2022-23 and guiding the Royals to their second NAIA Tournament appearance in a row.
Case helped the Lancers claim the 2020-21 regular season and WAC Tournament Championships as well as earning their first two WNIT postseason victories with the first coming against New Mexico in round one. Then they defeated San Francisco in round two with a WNIT record setting 63.3% shooting from the field. Overall, she helped the program to four WNIT appearances, three Pac West Conference Championships, three NCAA DII Tournament appearances including Final Four appearances in 2017 and 2015 with the later ending in a runner up finish. Players under her also picked up accolades as she coached 6 First Team All-Conference athletes, 1 WAC Conference Player of the Year, 1 NCAA All-West Region player & West Region Most Outstanding Player.
Prior to CBU Case spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at UC Santa Barbara where she was part of the team's 2012 Big West Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance as well as the team's 2011 conference co-championship and WNIT Bid.
Case is familiar with the GSAC having graduated from Westmont College in 2010 where she played four years on the women's basketball team finishing with career records in points scored (1,387), points per game (12.4) and field goal attempts (1,211). She is also second in the Westmont record books in both 3-pointers made (207) and free throws made (280). Case was named All-GSAC as a senior and helped guide the Warriors to the NAIA playoffs in three of the four years she was there.Â
After earning her bachelor's degree from Westmont College in Liberal Studies, Case graduated with a master's degree in special education, disabilities and risk studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2012.
A native of Yorba Linda, CA Case played high school basketball at El Dorado High School where she was All-CIF and All-Orange County. She currently resides in Fullerton with her dog.
