Benjamin Jordon joined Hope International University in February 2025 as the Head Coach of the men's soccer program.
Jordon is the Director of Coaching at Irvine Football Club and has for the past few seasons been the Associate Head Coach at NCAA Division II Biola University and the Program Director and Head Coach at Portola High School. Jordon led Portola High School to the 2022 and 2023 CIF Playoffs and has had four players move on to Junior Colleges while developing 10 All-Pacific Coast Conference players. In his first year with the program Jordon helped lead Biola to a historic season in 2022 as they won their first PacWest Conference Title and qualified to the first round of the NCAA DII Playoffs for the second consecutive year. Jordon also helped coach and develop four PacWest players of the year as the Eagles swept the top honors, four All-West Region players and nine All-Conference players. Jordon would help coach the Eagles to their second PacWest Championship in 2023 where he coach the 2023 Freshman of the Year and two All PacWest players. Then in 2024 he coached the PacWest Goalkeeper of the Year who would go on to be drafted by the New England Revolution as well as four more All PacWest selections. His collegiate coaching experience also includes three seasons as the Associate Head Coach at Westcliff University from 2019-2022 where he helped coach the program to a 23-9-4 overall record and helped lead the Warriors to their best season in program history in 2021 as they recorded their first ever postseason win in their first appearance in the CALPAC Tournament. He also helped coach and develop their first NAIA All-American along with the CALPAC Player of the Year and Defender of the Year.Â
Jordon also played college soccer as a left back at NJCAA DI Meridian Community College in Mississippi from 2010-2012 where he started all 36 games helping guide his team to back to back Region 23 National Championships. Jordon graduated with a Master's in Coaching and Exercise Science from Concordia Irvine in 2025. He also earned a bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Mississippi State in 2017 and holds a USSF B license. Jordon lives in Mission Viejo with his wife of eight years Mai and two children Emma and Sebastian.
