Prior to Hope - Arturo competed two years at York College and contributed 16 goals and 12 assists in 18 games played. During his two-year career at York College, Arturo was named Freshman of the Year, KCAC 2nd Team All-Conference, and KCAC Player of the Week. 

Glen A. Wilson High School - Played three years on Varsity under Coach Federico…Named 2^nd-Team All-Conference and 2-Time Scholar-Athlete…Played four years of Varsity Tennis and won CIF Championship and named Doubles MVP.
