Fullerton, CA - The Hope International men's tennis team (4-6) dropped a close match 5-2 to the Haverford College Fords on Monday afternoon at home at the Fullerton Tennis Center.

The Fords took the doubles point as they prevailed 6-4 against Reid Lizardo and Yahia Elsheikh, 6-4 against Thomas Folsom and Dylan Barrett and 6-1 against Ricky Lizardo and Kaito Henderson. The Royals battled back in the singles matches as Reid Lizardo defeated James McKenzie 6-1 and 6-2. Kento Henderson also took down his opponent coming back to win 6-3 and 10-6 after dropping the first set 6-1. It wasn't enough though as the Royals lost the other four singles matches to fall 5-2.

The Royals continue action on the road on Thursday, March 13 at 10:00 AM against Whittier College in Whittier, CA.
