GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Hope International women's cross country landed a pair of top-10 finishes on Saturday at the Firestorm Classic, as Maya Garcia finished in sixth place and Lupe Mata 10th.

The duo raced on the Sahuaro Ranch Park 6K course, with Garcia posting a time of 23:42.20. Mata clocked 24:39.91, outdistancing Arizona Christian's Kaesha Guillaume (24:41.02) for the top 10 showing.

The Royals return to action on Saturday, October 18 at the Highlander Invitational.
