Fullerton, CA – The 2023-24 Hope International University Royals men's basketball schedule was released today, as announced by 16th year Head Coach
Bill Czech. The 24-25 season consists of 27 games with 17 games at home. The men are looking to improve upon their first round NAIA appearance from last year and third place regular season finish.
The Royals kick off their season at home against Stanton on Friday, October 25 at 6:00 PM in the Darling Pavilion. They then host Redlands and travel to play Concordia Irvine before a big home matchup against the defending Southern States Conference Champion Loyola University of New Orleans on Friday, November 8 at 5:00 PM. Then they continue their homestand against Bethesda and Stanton before heading to Eugene, OR for a mini tournament against hosts Bushnell and then Corban on November 22 and 23. The Royals then return home for their own tournament against Nobel and La Sierra on November 25 and 26. The Royals then wrap up non conference play with games against Bethesda, Thompson Rivers and Justice before they open up GSAC play at home against The Master's on Saturday, January 4th at 2:00 PM. Beginning this year the Royals will see three new conference opponents as Park-Gilbert, Benedictine Mesa and Embry-Riddle (AZ) join the newly revamped Great Southwest Athletic Conference. The Royals play all their home games on campus at the Darling Pavilion with their final home game against Life Pacific on Wednesday, February 12. They will then wrap up the GSAC regular season on the road on February 20 against The Master's in Santa Clarita, CA. This year the GSAC Tournament will be hosted by the highest seed.
