Fullerton, CA – The Hope International women's soccer team swept GSAC Player of the Week honors for the first time this season as Christiane Sundstrom was named Player of the Week and Haley Slouka was named Defender of the Week as announced by the Great Southwest Athletic Conference on Monday afternoon.

A senior transfer in her third year from Cal State Bakersfield Slouka played all 90 minutes while recording her first shutout of the season in the Royals 3-0 season opening win over SOKA while recording three saves.

A graduate student transfer in her second year from Utah State Sundstrom scored a goal and an assist in the Royals season opening 3-0 win over SOKA.
