Fullerton, CA - The Hope International University men's track and field team continued their season with a strong performance at the Beach Invitational from April 14-15 in Long Beach, CA.
Teddy Ochieng tried a new event at the Beach Invitational, the long jump. Ochieng jumped to a new school record with his first jump with a mark of 22' 1¾"(6.75m).  That jump placed him 3
rd in his flight.  Adrian Smith also jumped to a distance of 16' 8"(5.08m) for 8
th place.    Â

Marcus Abendanio ran 12.08 in the 100m and 25.77 in the 200mÂ
Teddy Ochieng also ran 23.37 in the 200m and 51.83 in the 400mÂ
Diego Pineda ran 2:04.09 in the 800m and 4:15.96 in the 1500mÂ
Ricardo Cruz ran 4:05.18 in the 1500m and 15:39.89 in the 5000mÂ
Luis Diaz ran 4:19.14 in the 1500m and 16:29.13 in the 5000mÂ
Morgan Faunce ran 16:38.25 in the 5000m Â
Michael Ventura ran 57.26 in the 400m HurdlesÂ
The men's team ran 45.54 in the 4 x 100m Relay for 3
rd place in their heat and 3:40.07 in the 4 x 400m Relay for 7
th place overall.Â
