Jamie Hofman brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the court as she enters her second season at the helm of the Hope International women's program. A former member of the USA Women’s National Volleyball Team, Hofman enjoyed a seven-year professional career competing in Puerto Rico, France, Cyprus, Finland, Croatia, and Switzerland.
A standout collegiate player at the University of California, Riverside, she holds program records for most career kills and most kills in a single season. She became just the fourth player in UCR history to surpass both 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs, earning Big West All-Conference Freshman Team honors in 2002 and First Team All-Big West honors in 2004 and 2005.
Hofman’s success began early at Baptist Christian High School, where she led her team to four CIF Division V Championships. She was named Division V Player of the Year, earned two League MVP awards, was a three-time All-CIF selection, and a four-time First Team All-League honoree.
Her coaching career includes serving as Assistant Indoor Volleyball Coach at Riverside City College from 2013 to 2018 and as the program’s first Head Beach Volleyball Coach from 2016 to 2018, helping launch the team and leading them to immediate success. In 2018, she was named Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year. Hofman is now entering her third year coaching with Inland Valley Force Volleyball Club.
Hofman lives in Yucaipa with her husband, Rich, and their three boys.
