Junior (2023) - Earned 86 sets and played in 23 matches, earned 10 assists. Earned 107 digs and averaged 1.24 digs per set. 

Mt. San Jacinto College - Played two years for the Eagles... 2021 Conference Champions (first team in MSJC history to go undefeated)... 2022 First Team All-Conference... Led the conference in digs... First Team All-Conference for Beach Volleyball.

Temecula Preparatory School - Played four years varsity for the Patriots... Team Captain... First Team All-Conference sophomore and junior year... 2019 Conference Champions... Graduated with honors.

Personal - Born on October 4 in Murrieta, CA... Parents are Danielle and Josiah Mata... Has four siblings Hailey, Kayla, Aurora and Alison... Chose HIU because, "I love the team and the girls. The values of their school and the program resonate with me and being a part of a a Christian community is something very important to me. The location is also great as it keeps me close to my family and friends back at home in Temecula."... Favorite Bible Verse is Psalm 139:14... Favorite professional athletes are Morgan Hentz, Kobe Bryant and Cooper Kupp... Favorite food is sush... Favorite movies are anything Disney... Enjoys singing and took part in honors choir in high school... Major is Elementary Education with a career objective of becoming an elementary school teacher for a charter school.
