Hope International University

Dominic Lawerence joined the STUNT staff in 2021 to prepare for the inaugural competition season of the HIU STUNT program. 

Lawerence has been coaching high school cheer for the past six years and is currently the assistant cheer coach at El Dorado High School, where they won the 2020 CIFSS Championship. Previously, Lawerence was a cheer camp instructor for World Class Cheerleading for three years. 

Lawerence was a member of the Long Beach City College Coed Cheer Team from 2014-2016 and has been competing competitively for eight years and is a two-time state champion. 

Outside of STUNT, Lawerence enjoys hiking and spending time with family. He currently works as a college advisor with USC CAC at Browning HS and will be applying for grad school this fall to pursue a Master in Education.
