Coach Noni Chaves serves as the Assistant Coach for the Hope International University softball program, specializing in outfield development and player mentorship. Building on a distinguished collegiate playing career, Coach Chaves brings both technical expertise and a faith-driven leadership approach to her coaching role. As a standout outfielder, Coach Chaves earned recognition on the 2024 All-GSAC Softball Team and was awarded the GSAC Gold Glove for her exceptional defensive skills. She served as a team captain during her playing career, demonstrating leadership both on and off the field. In her role at HIU, Coach Chaves focuses on refining outfield techniques, improving defensive strategy, and fostering teamwork and communication among players. Her guidance has been instrumental in enhancing the team’s defensive performance.
