Biography

Prior to Hope: Attended CSU San Marcos for one year and competed on the varsity baseball team for one season ... A.I.I. Conference Newcomer of the Year & first team honoree ... A.I.I. All-Tournament selection ... Led the NAIA in hits per game (1.755) and at bats per game (4.283) ... Second in the nation with 93 hits … Broke the CSUSM season records for hits (93), runs scored (61) and at bats (227) … His 20 doubles puts him in second behind 2015 CSUSM Hall of Fame inductee Austin Coleman (21 2Bs in 2012) … His .410 batting average ranks him second in the CSUSM record books … Paced the Cougars in home runs (6) and total bases (139) … Tallied a team-best 30 multiple-hit games and was second on the team with 15 multiple-RBI games … Ended the season with a 34-game streak of reaching base safely that will carry into 2016 season … Registered a 16-game hit streak (April 4-May 2) … Batted .600 (9-for-15) with seven runs, four RBIs, two stolen bases, a double and home run in the three-game series against University of Sioux Falls (March 14-15) … Tied a CSUSM single game record with three doubles against Bethesda (March 7) … Went 5-for-7 with three runs, three RBIs and two doubles against Georgia Gwinnett (May 4) in the A.I.I. Conference Championship semifinals … Was 4-for-6 with a run at Point Loma (Feb. 28) … Raised his batting average to .430, highest of the season, after going 4-for-4 against San Diego Christian (April 21) … Made eight appearances in relief … Struck out two batters on three different occasions … ... Also Long Beach City College for three years and competed on the varisty baseball team for two seasons ... Appeared in 34 games and seven as a pitcher with three starts and finished with a 0-2 record as a freshman … As a sophomore, was named All-South Coast Conference first team as an outfielder, member of the SCC All-Star team, team captain, and led the Vikings to a SCC championship after batting .347 with 41 hits.
 
Woodrow Wilson: Competed on the varsity baseball team for four seasons in Long Beach, CA … All-Moore League first team selection … Led the Bruins his senior year with 35 hits, 11 doubles, four home runs, .330 BA, .342 OBP and .518 SLG ... Named to the Moore League All-Star, Team Offensive Player of the Year in 2011, and helped his team to the  2011 CIF Southern Section Division I Semi-Finals… Was the only varsity pitcher to go undefeated, 4-0, his junior year  … Received the Medallion Award for 200 off-campus service hours.
