Long Beach City College - Competed with the vikings for 1 season under Head Coach Crook. During this time, Pinal earned a .330 batting average, was named Player of the Year and lead his team to a conference title.

Cerritos HS - Competed with the Dons for 2 seasons under Head Coach Brooks...During this time, Pinal was named 1x Player of the Year.
