LOMPOC, Calif. – Hope International posted its lowest scoring round to conclude the 2026 GSAC Men's Golf Championship on Wednesday at La Purisima Golf Course.
The Royals remained in ninth place for the tournament, but improved by 11 shots from the second round to the third.
Chris Ruiz posted his best round of the championship, finishing with a 5-over 77. He tied for 29th place with a 54-hole aggregate of 24-over 240 (80-83-77).
Finishing in a tie for 32nd was Evan Lambert, who also had his best round on the 6,799-yard course. He fired a 4-over 76, improving upon his first two scores of 83 and 82.
Ashtin Mount recorded an 8-over 80 for a final score of 248 (89-79-80), coming in 39th place. Rounding out the Royal lineup was Dominick Rivera (+38, 254, 82-86-86) in a tie for 41st place.
