MESA, Ariz. – The Hope International men's volleyball team lost in three sets at Park Gilbert on Friday. The Buccaneers won by scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-16.
Alessandro Spendolini led the Royals (3-10, 1-3 GSAC) with 11 kills and a team-high tying six digs. Jah'mi Jeter added seven kills and Steve Tong had six digs.
Sam D'Ambrosio posted 13 assists as HIU hit .058 (28-23-86) as a team.
The Royals return to action on Saturday at Benedictine Mesa for a 1:00 p.m. first serve.
