ANAHEIM, Calif. – Hope International made history at the 2026 USA Collegiate Championships in the Anaheim Convention Center.

HIU Cheer took the national title in the College Situation Sideline/Cheer division topping 11 other universities, including (in order of rank) Idaho, College of the Sequoias, Fresno Pacific, Linfield, Western Washington, Central Washington, College of Southern Idaho, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Dominguez Hills, and University of Colorado-Denver. 

In the 4-year College Intermediate division, HIU took home the runner-up silver medal losing out to powerhouse Cal Baptist by 0.7 points. Stephen F. Austin took 3rd, Arizona State 4th and CSU San Marcos, Sonoma State, and CSU Stanislaus did not move out of the preliminary round.
