SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Junior Caleb Ornelas led the Hope International men's cross country team on Saturday at Central Park, posting a time of 30:19.2 on the 8K course.

Ornelas finished in 190th place out of 219 runners.

Junior Andy Avalos also represented the Royals, placing 216th overall in a time of 36:05.4.

The Royals are next in action on Friday at the SF State Invitational. The team will compete at 3:30 p.m. in Golden Gate Park's Speedway Meadow.
