RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Daniel Perez and Caleb Ornelas competed for Hope International men's cross country at the UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday.

Participating in the Open division at the Ag Ops Course, Perez posted HIU's fastest time of 26:51.2 on the 8K course. He finished in 124th place.

Ornelas traversed the course in 28 minutes, 16 seconds for 217th place.

The large field included 287 competitors.

HIU is next in action on Wednesday, October 1 at the Firestorm Classic in Glendale, Ariz.
