Fullerton, CA - The Hope International men's tennis team (5-13) dropped their second conference match in a row as they fell 5-2 to the Arizona Christian University Firestorm on Saturday afternoon at home at the Fullerton Tennis Center in Fullerton, CA.

The Royals got off to a good start again as they won the doubles points with Reid Lizardo and Yahia Elsheikh prevailing 6-2 while Ricky Lizardo and Felix Hamp won 6-3. Dylan Barrett and Thomas Folsom lost 6-3 but it didn't matter as the Royals already clinched the point winning two out of three. The Royals were unable to hold on to the lead though as Barrett lost 6-2, 6-1 and Folsom lost 6-2, 6-0, Ricky Lizardo put up a battle but fell 6-1, 7-5 while Reid Lizardo also lost in a tough one 7-5, 6-2 which meant the Royals had lost. Yahia Elsheikh did prevail in his match 7-5, 5-7, 10-5 to make it 4-2. Kento Henderson also put up a strong fight taking a 6-4 lead but he would also fall to defeat as he lost the final two sets as the Royals fell 5-2.

The Royals look to end their losing steak as they hit the road to take on Ventura College on Monday, March 31 at 12:00 PM.
