Timmermans Finishes 10th Earning All-American Honors at NAIA Championships

Columbia, MO - Hope International Women's Cross Country runner Emma Timmermans competed at the NAIA Cross Country Championships on Friday morning for the fourth and final time in her career at Gans Creek XC Course in Columbia, MO.

Timmermans earned All-American honors with a career best 10th place finish out of 327 runners with a time of 21:13.4 in the 6k event. She was also the fourth fastest in the GSAC improving upon her performance in last year's NAIA Championships. Runners finishing in the top 40 received All-American honors. Timmermans is the first cross country runner in Royals history to earn All-American honors and has now done it twice.
