Fullerton, CA – The 2023 Hope International University Royals baseball schedule was released today, as announced by second year head coach
Larry Mahoney. The 2023 season consists of 47 games with 27 at home as the Royals look to win their third GSAC Championship in a row. The Royals begin the season ranked No. 10 in the NAIA preseason poll.
The Royals kick off their season at home on Tuesday, January 31 at 6:00 PM as they take on La Sierra University as part of a nine game non-conference homestand to open the season. During that time the Royals will also host Westcliff University, Providence Christian College and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University-Arizona. The Royals will then open up GSAC play against Westmont College at home on Friday, February 17 at 11:00 AM. After playing their first fourteen games at home the Royals will finally hit the road when they travel to San Diego to face San Diego Christian College beginning on Friday, February 24 at 11:00 AM. The Royals will then wrap up GSAC play on the road as they take on Arizona Christian University beginning on Friday, April 21 at 11:00 AM. Once again the GSAC Tournament will take place from May 1-4 at the OC Great Park in Irvine, CA.
