Shailissa Jarrett

Shailissa was born and raised in Whittier, CA. She graduated in 2024 from Hope International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a focus in Child and Adolescent Development. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) program at HIU, with an anticipated graduation date of 2027.

As a four-year member of the Royals women’s basketball program at Hope International University, Shailissa established herself as a dynamic three-level scorer. She finished her collegiate career shooting 41.5% from the three-point line, highlighting her efficiency and offensive versatility. During her junior season (2023–2024), she helped lead the Royals to a GSAC Women's Basketball Tournament championship title.

Now serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Royals, Shailissa brings her competitive experience, leadership, and background in psychology to support the holistic development of student-athletes both on and off the court.
