Kim Jaramillo

Kim Jaramillo was named the head athletic trainer for Hope International University in 2004. Jaramillo supervises a staff of three other full-time NATA-certified trainers for the Royals and also serves as academic adviser for HIU.

Jaramillo is currently the longest-tenured staff member of the HIU Athletic Department and has been a part of all the Royals’ success lately as a department while keeping the HIU athletes game-ready. In the 2018-19 season she was named the GSAC Athletic Trainer of the Year for her involvement in hosting several conference tournaments and the NAIA Soccer National Championship in addition to her work with the students at HIU.

Jaramillo has an M.A. in Physical Education from Chico State (2004) and has been a NATA-certified athletic trainer since 2004. Jaramillo received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Lake Forest College in 2001.

Jaramillo is married to her husband Alex and has four children together with her husband – Isabella, Joaquin, Mateo, and Gabriel. The Jaramillo family lives in Corona, CA and are active members at South Hills Church.
