Alex Driggers was named Head Coach of the Hope International men's and women's wrestling programs in June of 2025.
Driggers most recently served as the Head Coach at Cypress High School, where he led the Centurions to multiple top 10 tournament finishes, a top 7 overall team finish at CIF, and coached 10 athletes to Masters qualifications, including 3 CIF State qualifiers. Prior to his time at Cypress, Driggers was the Head Coach at Redondo Union High School. There, he guided the program to back-to-back league championships, qualified 38 wrestlers for CIF, 9 for the Masters Meet, and 1 for the state tournament. Under his leadership, Redondo celebrated its first CIF State placer in 50 years and its first-ever female state placer. Driggers' coaching career also includes notable assistant coaching roles at Independence High School in Tennessee—where he helped secure back-to-back top 10 finishes at the AAA State Tournament—and University Christian School in Florida, where the program finished third in the state with five state placers, including a state champion. As a competitor, Driggers wrestled at the high school level in Virginia before continuing his collegiate career in both Tennessee and Virginia, where he earned All-American honors at the national tournament.
