Adam Cutrell is in his first season as the head coach of the Hope International women's indoor volleyball program. He also is in charge of both the women's beach volleyball and men's beach volleyball programs, the latter of which enters its inaugural season in 2026. He has 26 years of coaching experience having mentored teams of varying ages and skill level teaching valuable volleyball and life skills.
He took over the women's beach volleyball program on an interim basis in 2023 and became the full-time head coach in 2024. In his four seasons with the Royals, the program has gained momentum, most notably in rising to as high as No. 5 in the NAIA national rankings. HIU knocked off then-No. 5 Arizona Christian during the 2026 season.

Prior to coaching Cutrell played collegiate volleyball at Golden West College and Utah Valley College.
A Southern California native Cutrell has been married to AnnMarie for 25 years and they have 5 kids (3 girls, 2 boys) and Penny their Labradoodle. As a family they love to attend church together, go to the beach, golf, basketball, and hike. Cutrell earend an Associates of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of Phoenix in 2011.
