Andrea York joins Hope International in 2025 after previous stints as the Head Coach of Marantha High School, Calvary Christian School and Yula High School. York as also been a person trained for 15 years and coached marathon runners in Kenya for two years.

Andrea excelled in running in high school and obtained a Division 1 scholarship to run at the University of Maine. She trained in marathons after college and obtained her certificates in College where she started her personal training journey, She became a trainer because she realized her passion of helping people find their inner potential. After college she went on to live in Kenya in a community called Iten. This town is considered "The Home of the Champions," because all of the world class runners live and train there. She helped train and sponsor marathon runners from abroad and came back two years later. She then moved to California where she also obtained a job working directly under a well established Orthopedic Surgeon with his patients working in special corrective exercises and physical therapy. She was also a Master Trainer for three years at 24 Hour Fitness at the Santa Monica location and went on to open her own business for 5 years at Trident Fitness. Andrea knows that feeling strong and being the best you can be is the only way to live a full life.

York earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and Sociology from the University of Maine in 2010 where she also competed at the NCAA Division 1 level in the 10,000 meter, 5,000 meter, 3000 meter, 1500 meter, 800 meter, triple jump, long jump and relay events. York is also a certified airline pilot in helicopters and airplanes.
